The hydrogen fuel cell is an important innovation that is getting the attention of car owners who are sick of paying more for gas. If you are keen to learn how to build your own hydrogen fuel cell, but are worried about your lack of technical expertise, take heart. It is not as complicated as it sounds.

What is a hydrogen fuel cell?

First, let me briefly explain what this device is all about, and how it works to save you money at the gas pump.

The hydrogen fuel cell is a DIY device that can be assembled and installed under your car hood. Among other common parts, it comprises a quart-size container that holds water. By drawing electricity from your car’s internal power supply, the fuel cell extracts energy from water by converting it into a hydrogen-based gas called HHO, or Brown’s gas (named after the famed Bulgarian scientist, Yull Brown).

The system can be configured to produce HHO gas on-demand either (a) through an on/off switch or (b) for as long as your car’s engine is running. This HHO produced is then channeled through the intake manifold into the combustion chamber to mix with gasoline. By doing so, the combustion rate of gasoline is greatly enhanced, and burns cleanly and completely. This explains why drivers who have installed this kit have reported significant gas savings of 50% or more, depending on vehicle make and traveling conditions.

If you are safety-conscious, you will be glad to know that a hydrogen fuel cell is very safe to use. It does not produce hydrogen gas directly (which can be highly dangerous), but HHO gas. This gas is three times more powerful than normal gasoline but yet it burns with the chemical stability of water. All this takes place under controlled circumstances in the combustion chamber.

Besides improved fuel economy, many drivers have also reported increased horsepower, smoother and quieter engine operation. The car also produces cleaner emissions. Why not? After all, you are using water as a fuel source to produce HHO!

How can I build one?

If you are looking to buy a ready-made unit, you are unlikely to find one. You can engage your local car mechanic to build and install this in your car. But this can easily set you back by $1000 to $1500 or even more.

However, if you are one who loves to work things around the house, you will find that it is most cost-effective to build this system yourself. Even if you have no technical expertise, there are excellent guidebooks online which will show you how to assemble a unit, from start-to-finish. So, why not learn how to build your own hydrogen fuel cell and start saving on gas? You will be reaping benefits for a long time to come.

Want to build one yourself but do not know where to start?

This is really the question people want to know before they go any further with the now infamous “Run your car on water”technology. So, the question remains, Is the ‘”Run your car on water” technology a hoax or is it for real? Rather than give my opinion on the matter, let’s take a look at a few of the facts and then you can make the decision.

1. The technology known as “Run your car on Water” has been around in one form or another since 1820. Since the latest gas price escalation we have sen a tremendous increase in those looking for an alternative energy and they have seemed to find it in the “Run your car on water” program. In fact, there are now thousands of happy drivers filling web page after web page and news report after report with testimonies about how much money they are saving by driving a water car.

2. The US Army has just purchased a fleet of Hummers with the “Run your car on water” technology in it.

3. The US Senate and the US House of Representatives has recently conducted hearings based on the “Run your car on water” technology and reportedly came away quite impressed, wanting to know more about it.

4. It has been proven that those using the “Run your car on water” technology are cutting back on pollution through emissions released by 90%.

I can go on an on with other stays related to this technology but instead chose to include a link to a review site that looks objectively at the three leading sites providing this technology.

For an objective review of the three leading gas to water products click here: http://www.gastowater.com - the place to visit.

We all agree that something has to be done about gas prices rising above the roof. Why   Water for Gas is worth checking out.
